Jose Maria Aznar Spàin´s ex prime minister (1996-2004) from the People´s Party flips off students protesting against him in the University of Oviedo (Asturias).
I think That Azanar was wrong for giving the middle finger to a student who was expressing her feelings. I actually think it is wrong for any politician to give the middle finger to anyone in a public form like that. They are suppose to be a role model of not only the nation but to certain individuals of all ages I think it shows weakness in a person and our leaders are suppose to be strong individuals.
Yeah, "Aznar's Middle Finger" seems much more malicious than George Bush's. By flipping these kids off he is essentially ignoring whatever they were protesting when he is supposed to represent all of the Spanish people and their beliefs. When Aznar gives the middle figure he gives off the notion that he will do what he wants to do and ignore his peoples wants which can be a slippery slope into dictatorship.
Aznar's middle finger does not present him in a good fashion at all. Like AJ said he is disregarding the students rights of opinions and speech and being he was one of Spain's first Presidents in a newly democratic nation he should respect those rights all the more.
