Diastance of IU and Psoe

This is a cable before the elections of 2004. It expalins how some feel that the communist party is taking seats away from the psoe. The people of the IU or comunist party think that the socialist party is far to central and not socialist at all. The parties have not combined forces really since the civil war. Some fel that IU is just a protest vote. Although they still have some represantation in congress many people feel its a dying party. Link
