Amanda Knox a United States native was studying abroad in the beautiful town of Perugia Italy. She was accused for murder of fellow British flatmate Kercher who was also studying abroad. This story has gained heavy doses of national media attention. Originally Knox was sentanced to 26 years in prison. Today after serving 4 years has been aquitted of murder and sexual assault charges. The courtroom was torn the parents of kercher were heart broken while the Knox family was estatic. After years of hardship and slander from the British media knox is a free woman. I have been very intriuged by this story for years and believe that this is a rightful outcome.
