Spain's stolen babies

An article from BBC about the suspected trafficking of babies during the years of Franco's rule. In the last few years stories have been brought to the attention of the media about babies being stolen from families and sold on the black market. Many times children born to "less desirable" families were taken (many times telling the parents the child had died shortly after birth) and placed with adoptive parents. While there have been about 900 cases brought to public attention, some estimate there were over 300,000 children affected.
