As the data for September was recently released, it shows an even greater increase in the unemployment rate in Spain, already Europe's worst with 21% of people out of work and 46% of those under 25 unemployed. These numbers come after many cuts to public services and jobs in the public sector: teachers, healthcare and social services workers. Many local governments are making cuts in order to close budget gaps.
