This week the Basque separatist group ETA are expected to relase a statement to end the use of violence in their quest for independence. This will come after a calling of a cofernace for negatioations in San Sebastian and calls from former ETA memebers for an end to violence. These agreement would hopefully be a definitive end after the permanent ceasefire ETA issued in Sepember 2010.
